Online travel and leisure retailer lastminute.com’s London Eye will transform the night sky with a burst of colour on Sunday, November 12, 2023, to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights.
From 4 pm on Sunday, the London Eye will be illuminated with a special display of dazzling lights and colourful patterns inspired by traditional rangoli colours, a press release from londoneye.com said.
The London Eye’s light display will unite London’s Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist communities in celebrating Diwali, a festival that symbolises new beginnings, hope, the triumph of good over evil, and light emerging from darkness.
Imran Tauqir, general manager of the lastminute.com London Eye said, “We’re delighted to be joining the Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist communities in the celebration of Diwali at the lastminute.com London Eye with our very special light-up display.”
He added, “It’s amazing to join not just the Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist communities in London but around the world in celebrating the festive of light. We wish a very happy and safe Diwali to our guests, team and all those marking the occasion across London and beyond.”
