the second seminar of the Ladies In Hospitality’s 2018 programme is in New Delhi on April 6th at the Heinz Auditorium, YMCA. The New Delhi seminars follows the successful start of the nine-city tour in Hyderabad on February 28th. The programme is the first serious look at Indian hospitality from the female perspective, at a time when equality in the community and the workforce is the #1 conversation worldwide.
The business case for this theme, building up over a generation, is today at its strongest, in step with the competition for talent and the strengthening of equality and prevention of sexual harassment laws. “Yesterday was Woman’s Day making this the perfect time to announce these very important seminars in the Indian capital for an industry that’s so crucial to our economy.
Hospitality in the #1 employer worldwide and we taking the initiative so that the negative gender practices of yesterday do not continue into tomorrow. This is the first step and everyone’s welcome to join us at the seminars,” said the co-host team in unison. Launched in October 2017 at the AAHAR trade fair in Mumbai, Ladies In Hospitality is a national programme with at least nine events across India in 2018.
