During lockdown, she transferred this advisory role to the virtual space on YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram, which enabled her to reach millions globally. This has given the popular content creator a chance to make a positive difference. Eastern Eye caught up with the important educator to discuss her unique journey. What specifically inspired you to create career-related content?
This stems from my passion for teaching, witnessing the success of my students and the desire to support a larger audience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
You have gained over two million followers across online platforms since starting in May 2021. Did you expect to become so popular?
Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations. My main goal was to provide useful information and support candidates. However, the success has surpassed my expectations. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that my content is making a significant difference. I’m grateful for the support and excited to continue providing valuable content to help candidates with their career journeys.
What has been your most memorable moment so far?
There have been many remarkable moments, but one that truly touched my heart was a heartfelt message from a young girl expressing profound gratitude for my assistance in securing a job. This job made her the sole earner in her family, bringing financial stability and a sense of pride. Such personal connections and impactful experiences inspire me to continue creating valuable content, empowering others to achieve their career goals. They fuel my passion for teaching, coaching and making a meaningful difference.
