Go Spiritual India took a proactive stance on World Mental Health Day, October 10, 2023, emphasising mental health and spiritual well-being under the theme “Mental Health in an Unequal World.”

The organisation stressed the importance of addressing disparities in mental health access and support while promoting emotional and spiritual balance among individuals and communities worldwide.

In a focused attempt to bridge the gap between urban and rural mental health services, Go Spiritual India arranged a series of impactful events in rural schools on World Mental Health Day. The objective was to raise awareness about mental health issues where awareness levels are lower compared to urban areas.

Here are the key highlights of Go Spiritual India’s World Mental Health Day Observance:

Mindfulness Workshops: Renowned spiritual leaders and mental health experts led comprehensive mindfulness workshops both in-person and online, equipping participants with tools to manage stress and anxiety, enhancing mental well-being. These workshops extended to schools, colleges, and corporate institutions, addressing stress, depression, suicide prevention, and mental well-being.

Media & Social Media Campaign: A powerful social media campaign was initiated under #SpiritualWellness, encouraging individuals worldwide to share their experiences and tips for maintaining mental health in an unequal world. This digital campaign fostered an online community, promoting open dialogue and reducing stigma. The organisation utilised various media channels to raise awareness about mental health issues.

Collaborations: Go Spiritual India collaborated with mental health professionals, local authorities, and non-profit organisations, aiming to enhance mental health services, reduce disparities in access to care, and make a tangible impact.
