Akshay Kumar starrer Bellbottom to hit the big screens in May 2021

Akshay Kumar starrer Bellbottom is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie was slated to release on 2nd April 2021, but a few days ago, there were reports that the makers are planning a direct-to-digital release. However, the reports have turned out to be false.

 

Bellbottom will hit the big screens, and today, the release date of the film has been announced. The movie will release on 28th May 2021.

 

Jackky Bhagnani, who is producing the film under Pooja Entertainment, took to Twitter to make an announcement about it. He posted, “Mark your calendar #Bellbottom arrives in cinemas near you on 28th May, 2021! @akshaykumar @vaaniofficial @humasqureshi @LaraDutta @vashubhagnani @ranjit_tiwari @honeybhagnani @monishaadvani @madhubhojwani @nikkhiladvani @EmmayEntertain @poojafilms @aseem_arora #ParveezShaikh.”

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bellbottom also stars Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor. The movie is based on true events that took place in the 1980s.

 

There have been reports that Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi might release on Holi this year. However, there’s no official announcement about it.

 

Meanwhile, a few days ago YRF announced the release date of their movies, and Akshay starrer Prithviraj is slated to hit the big screens on Diwali this year.

 

Apart from Bellbottom, Sooryavanshi, and Prithviraj, Akshay has movies like Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, Rakshabandhan and Ram Setu lined-up. While these films are officially announced, there are reports of Akki collaborating with Mission Mangal directed Jagan Shakti for a movie titled Mission Lion.

 

Well, Akshay is undoubtedly one of the busiest actors in Bollywood right now.
