2018 release Andhadhun is undoubtedly one of the best thrillers made in Bollywood. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte, the Sriram Raghavan directorial was loved by critics and the audiences.
The movie is being remade in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, and today, the release date of the Telugu remake has been announced. The movie stars Nithiin, Tamannaah Bhatia and Nabha Natesh.
Tamannaah took to Twitter to make an announcement about release date. Nithiin will be stepping into the shoes of Ayushmann for the Telugu remake, Tamannaah will play the character portrayed by Tabu, and Nabha Natesh will be seen portraying the character played by Radhika.
Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the Telugu remake is yet to be titled.
The Tamil remake, which is titled Andhagan, stars Prashanth and Simran, and the Malayalam remake titled Bhramam stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.
Andhadhun had won many awards including three National Awards, Best Hindi Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Actor. Now, let’s wait and watch what response the South remakes will get.
