They simply dismiss it by saying “it is meant for the older women”!As a society, we need a conversation for the change to happen. It’s about bringing people together to challenge the entire system because as brands, big or small, consumers or makers, everyone has a part to play. The Fashion Edit with its maiden curation in Ahmedabad on the 14th July,2017 with HH Maharani Radhika Raje inaugurating the luxury exhibition, she defines luxury in a very simple manner. Aditi speaks, when I came from Delhi 8 years ago, I had limited access to fashion brands & concepts of lifestyle. And that got me thinking! I just had to do something about it. To fill this gap for Ahmedabad I decided to connect all the fashion & lifestyle concepts, organize events that touch social issues to empower women on the whole, make women change the way they think which in turn has a very positive impact on the society. Aditi has a Business Management degree from Fore School of Management, IATA Trained, managed dry ports & hotels for 12 years before going plunging into a business of fashion & lifestyle just so that the newest concepts could also prevail in the city of Ahmedabad. A shift from a man’s world to a woman’s world. She is also in the process of launching Saksham, a foundation that would focus on helping the women & children in the lower strata of society. Focusing on women entrepreneurship, making them financially independent.On the other hand, Ashini Patel, a woman who has learnt to live her life on her terms and conditions in a society with fixed norms. Her expertise in HR & Admin is commendable & is heading the HR & Admin at The Thar Dry Port-Ahmedabad.
